What is pouring medium and when do you use it?
Pouring medium is a liquid acrylic additive specially developed for pouring applications in the creative sector. You need this product when you want to thin acrylic paint for techniques such as fluid art, where you pour paint over the canvas in flowing patterns.

Why choose this transparent medium?
This transparent medium from Viva Decor allows the colours of your acrylic paint to shine through fully without affecting the shades. Its miscible nature ensures you can achieve exactly the consistency you want for your pouring project, while the transparency preserves the originality of your chosen colours.

A flexible surface that doesn't yellow
The water-based medium creates a flexible surface that does not discolour or yellow over time. This means your artworks retain their original appearance, even after years. The flexibility prevents the dried surface from cracking or flaking when the canvas moves slightly.

Practical mixing ratio for optimal results
Start with small quantities and gradually mix the medium into your acrylic paint until you reach the desired liquid consistency. Always test on a small piece of material first to determine the right ratio for your specific project. Store any leftover medium tightly sealed in a cool, dry place.
