When do you choose this product?
What does this measuring instrument do?
A 30 cm ruler is an essential tool for accurately measuring and drawing straight lines. This size is suitable for many common measuring tasks in the office and works well with A4 sheets.
Why transparent plastic is the practical choice
The transparent material ensures that, while drawing or measuring, you can always see what lies beneath the ruler. This prevents you from unintentionally covering important lines or text while you work. Plastic is also lighter than metal alternatives and less breakable than glass versions, which makes it suitable for everyday office use.
Engraved millimetre scale for durability
The millimetre scale is engraved into the plastic, meaning the graduation marks are cut into the material. This technique ensures that the scale markings do not wear away through frequent use and cleaning. You can therefore rely on the measuring accuracy being maintained, even after intensive use.
Practical tip for optimal use
Store the ruler flat in a drawer or pen tray to prevent warping. When drawing lines, it is best to tilt the ruler slightly, so that ink cannot run under the edge and cause smudges. For the best results, place the ruler with the engraved side facing down, so you get the most precise measurement.
