When do you need an architect's scale?
An architect's scale is used for accurately measuring and drawing technical drawings, floor plans and building plans. You need this instrument when you work with drawings that are presented at different scales and you need to determine the actual dimensions or make new drawings to scale.

Why choose this 300 mm triangular variant?
This WESTCOTT 300 mm architect's scale offers you six different scale divisions on a single instrument: 1:100, 1:200, 1:250, 1:300, 1:400 and 1:500. The triangular design ensures stable positioning on your drawing table and prevents it from rolling away. The compact 300 mm length makes it a handy choice for everyday use without taking up too much space.

Practical features of this white plastic model
The white plastic material is lightweight and durable for daily use. The two coloured grooves in red and blue help you quickly recognise different scale divisions while you work. This colour coding prevents mistakes when you switch between different scales while drawing or measuring.

Suitable for these applications
These scale divisions are ideal for architectural and building drawings. You will often use the 1:100 and 1:200 scales for floor plans and sections, while 1:400 and 1:500 are practical for site plans and overview drawings. Store the scale in a drawing tube or flat drawer to prevent scratches that could affect legibility.
