When do you need a flat brush?
A flat brush such as this WESTEX Natural 60 is used for applying paint, stain or other liquids to large, flat surfaces. This brush is suitable for renovation work and industrial applications where you want an even distribution of the material.

Why choose a 60 mm width?
With a width of 60 mm, this brush sits in the mid-range in terms of size. You can efficiently work on larger surfaces with it without the brush becoming too heavy during prolonged use. The size offers a good balance between coverage and control over the paint application.

Natural bristle brush for specific applications
This brush has a natural bristle that is light in colour and has been purchased once (pre-treated). Natural bristles have specific properties for picking up and releasing paint, which can be important depending on the type of coating you use. The strength 6 indicates that this is a sturdy quality.

Practical details for use
The plastic handle makes the brush lighter than variants with a wooden handle and makes it less sensitive to moisture. The white-tin ferrule (the metal band) ensures the bristles are firmly attached to the handle. This combination makes the brush suitable for both simple renovation jobs and professional industrial work.
