Handy filling knife for filling and smoothing unevenness in walls and ceilings. The semi-flexible blade gives you the control you need for a neat, smooth result.
When do you choose this product?
What does a filling knife do and when do you need one?
A filling knife is used to fill in unevenness in walls, ceilings or other surfaces and smooth them out. Think of small damage, cracks or holes you want to fix before painting or wallpapering. Without a well-filled and smooth surface, those imperfections will show through the paint layer later.
Why a semi-flexible 80 mm knife?
The 80 mm width makes this knife suitable for targeted, precise jobs such as touching up smaller damage or working in corners and narrow areas. A wider knife would be less practical for that. The semi-flexible design means the blade gives slightly as you smooth, so you can spread the filler or plaster evenly without leaving unwanted ridges behind.
The semi-flexibility explained
The flexible blade is the defining feature of this model. Because the blade is not fully rigid, it adapts subtly to the surface, which makes it easier to finish smoothly. This is particularly useful for spreading fillers evenly over a slightly curved or irregular surface. A fully rigid blade would be more likely to leave marks in that case.
Practical tip about the handle
This knife is fitted with a 1K grip, which stands for a handle made from a single material component. This makes the handle easy to keep clean and resistant to commonly used fillers and plasters. After use, store the knife well cleaned, so the blade stays supple and no hardened residue complicates your next job.
