What is this masking tape used for, and when do you need it?
This WESTEX masking tape is developed for professional masking work indoors. You use it to temporarily cover surfaces during painting, renovation or finishing projects. The thin material gives you sharp lines without the tape showing through under your paint layer.

The beige colour is less conspicuous than bright alternatives, which is handy for decorative projects where discretion matters. With a 48 mm width you efficiently cover medium-sized surfaces, such as skirting boards, window frames and light switches. The roll length of 50 metres provides enough material for several projects without having to open new rolls all the time.

How does the medium adhesive strength work?
The masking tape has a natural rubber adhesive with medium adhesive strength, which means it adheres well but can still be removed neatly. This property prevents you from damaging paint or the substrate when peeling it off. The smooth, thin material conforms well to different surfaces without leaving thick edges behind.

Practical use and time limit
You can leave this tape in place for a maximum of 7 days before removing it. Leaving it on longer may lead to adhesive residue or difficult removal. It works best on smooth surfaces such as glass, metal, lacquered surfaces and high-gloss wood. For use on textured or porous materials, this type is less suitable.
