When do you use a natural bristle brush?
A natural bristle brush such as this WESTEX universal brush is ideal for precision work where even paint application is essential. Natural bristles take up paint better than synthetic materials and release it gradually, giving you streak-free results. You choose natural bristles for lacquers, varnishes and oil paints that require a professional finish.

Why size 20 with a short handle?
Size 20 gives you the perfect balance between coverage and control for medium-sized surfaces and detail work. The short hardwood handle gives you maximum precision when painting window frames, furniture or other objects where you need to work up close. This combination prevents wrist fatigue during extended jobs.

Advantages of the fan-shaped natural bristle brush
The natural bristle brush is set in a fan pattern, meaning the bristles are arranged in a spreading formation. This ensures optimal paint distribution and prevents streaking. The aluminium CN 60% ferrule (ring) holds the bristles firmly in place, even during intensive use with different types of paint.

Compatibility and maintenance
This universal brush works excellently with water-based and solvent-based paints. After use, clean the brush thoroughly with the appropriate solvent for your type of paint. The tinplate ferrule is resistant to most cleaning agents. Store the brush hanging or lying flat to keep the natural bristles in top condition.
