When do you need a new drum?
A drum is an essential component of your laser printer that transfers toner to the paper. When your prints become lighter, show streaks or look blotchy, it is time to replace the drum. This happens independently of toner cartridges and requires a separate replacement.

Why specifically yellow for the WorkCentre 6400?
This yellow drum has been specially developed for the Xerox WorkCentre 6400 series. Colour printers work with four separate drums, one for each colour, and you only replace the drum that is depleted. The yellow drum is often used intensively when printing logos, charts and presentations.

What does the capacity of 30,000 pages mean?
With a capacity of approximately 30,000 pages, you can print a considerable number of documents before replacement is necessary. This capacity applies to standard A4 documents with average coverage. With intensive use of yellow toner, such as for marketing materials or colourful documents, the actual yield may be lower.

Compatibility and installation
This drum has reference number 108R00777 and is exclusively compatible with the Xerox WorkCentre 6400. Check this number in your printer manual or on the old drum to be sure you are making the right choice. The replacement is easy to carry out via the front panel of your printer, following the specific instructions in the manual.
