This quality drawing pad with a grained surface is ideal for all dry drawing techniques. The acid-free 125 g/m² paper gives your drawings the sturdiness they deserve and keeps colours beautifully intact.
When do you choose this product?
When do you use this specialist sketchbook?
This Clairefontaine sketchbook has been specially developed for dry drawing techniques such as pencil, charcoal, pastel and chalk. You choose this block when you want to draw and sketch in a structured way, achieving different gradations and effects. The grained surface ensures that dry materials adhere optimally to the paper.
Why A4 format with 40 sheets?
The A4 format of 210 x 297 mm offers enough space for detailed drawings without the block becoming too large for your workspace. With 40 sheets, you have enough paper for a complete project or several practice sessions. The block is glued along the short side, so all sheets stay neatly in place while you work.
The grained surface makes the difference
The grained texture of this sketchbook is specifically tailored to dry drawing techniques. This texture helps hold pencil graphite, charcoal particles and pastel chalk, giving you more control over your lines and hatching. The 125 gram paper is sturdy enough to withstand intensive use without bleeding through.
Practical benefits for long-term use
The acid-free paper guarantees that your drawings will not discolour or become brittle over time. This makes the block suitable for work you want to keep for a long time. Store the block in a dry place and make sure the cover remains intact to protect the underlying sheets from dust and moisture.
