Useful for dust-free and neat sealing of unused SC Duplex ports. With 100 pieces, you always have enough stock to keep your fibre network organised and protected.
When do you choose this product?
What are fibre optic dust caps and when do you need them?
Fibre optic dust caps are small plastic protective covers used to seal unused fibre optic ports. They prevent dust, dirt and other contaminants from getting into the sensitive fibre optic connectors. This is essential for maintaining optimal signal strength and preventing faults in your network.
Practical stock for professional use
With 100 pieces in one pack, you have enough supply for larger installations or extended maintenance. The black colour gives a professional look and makes the caps easy to spot on light-coloured equipment. This prevents you from forgetting which ports you have sealed for maintenance or future expansion.
Storage tip
Store the caps in a dry place and make sure you always have a few spares to hand during installation work. That way you can seal the ports straight away after disconnecting cables.
