When do you choose this product?
When do you need a Cat. 6 network cable?
A Cat. 6 U/UTP network cable is used to connect devices to each other via a wired network. You need this cable when you want to connect a computer, printer, switch or router to your network for a stable internet connection or to transfer files between devices.
Why choose a 2 metre length?
This 2 metre cable is ideal for short distances within office environments. You can use it to connect devices that are close together, such as a computer to a printer or switch, without having too much excess cable lying around. The length prevents cable clutter on your desk or in your server room.
What do U/UTP and Cat. 6 mean?
U/UTP stands for unshielded twisted pair cables, which means this cable is suitable for standard office environments without much electromagnetic interference. Cat. 6 ensures reliable data transmission in modern network environments. The AWG 26/7 specification indicates that the cable contains 7 wires of AWG 26 gauge per core.
Practical benefits of the connectors
The RJ45 connectors are equipped with strain relief boots, strain relief and latch protection. This means the cable is better able to withstand daily use and the plugging and unplugging of devices. The transparent connectors with coloured accents make it easy to see quickly which cable you are holding, which is especially handy when you are using multiple cables.
