What this ring binder is for and when you need it

A ring binder is the classic way to keep loose documents organised together. You use it when you regularly want to consult, add to or rearrange your papers — think project files, course materials or administration at home or in the office. Thanks to the 2-ring mechanism, you can easily and quickly add or remove documents.

Why this A4 size is the right choice

This ring binder is suitable for standard A4 size, by far the most commonly used paper format for documentation, correspondence and printouts. With a width of 250 mm and a height of 320 mm, the binder fits in any common filing system and on a standard office shelf. You don't need to fold or trim your documents.

An honest note on capacity and spine width

The binder has a spine width of 20 mm and a ring diameter of 15 mm, so it holds up to 140 sheets. That makes it suitable for a medium-sized file, but bear in mind that it is less suitable if you want to keep a very large collection of documents in a single binder. The elastic closure — the rubber cord — keeps the binder shut and protects the contents during transport or storage.

Practical tip on material and storage

The cover is made of 355 g/m² Colorspan board, which gives a sturdy construction that holds its shape well. White is a neutral colour that combines well with coloured tabs or labels, so you can build a tidy filing system. Write or stick a label on the 20 mm spine to find the binder quickly in a row on your shelf.
