This versatile pencil with built-in eraser is perfect for drawing and writing. The hexagonal shape feels comfortable in your hand, and the break-resistant 2 mm lead delivers consistent lines.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need a pencil with an eraser?
This Faber-Castell CASTELL 9000 pencil combines writing and erasing in one handy tool. You choose this product when you regularly sketch, draw or take notes and want to be able to correct mistakes straight away. The built-in eraser saves you from searching for a separate eraser and ensures an efficient way of working.
Why choose hardness grade B?
The B hardness produces a dark, smooth line that is ideal for artistic applications and general use. This grade deposits more pigment than an HB pencil, so your lines are clearly visible without having to press hard. The hexagonal shape prevents rolling and offers comfortable grip during prolonged use.
Durable quality thanks to water-based lacquer technology
The green lacquer is applied using water-based lacquer technology, which ensures more environmentally friendly production without compromising on durability. The break-resistant system protects the approximately 2 mm thick graphite lead from breaking, even under firmer use. This means less waste and a longer service life for your pencil.
Practical usage tip
Thanks to its hexagonal shape, this pencil lies stably on your desk and does not roll away. The shape also offers more gripping surfaces for your fingers, which is especially pleasant for detailed work. Preferably store the pencil horizontally to optimally protect the tip, and regularly check whether the eraser is still securely seated.
