With this 269-piece set you can make beautiful pearl stars in stylish pearl white and gold. The set includes glass beads in different sizes and 5 wire stars with 8 strands each, so you can get started straight away.
When do you choose this product?
What are bead stars and when do you make them?
Bead stars are decorative stars that you make yourself by threading glass beads onto metal wire stars. They are popular as Christmas decorations and are used as hanging decorations, for the Christmas tree, or as festive decoration for windows and other spots around the home. This set is a craft project in which you thread beads onto the wires step by step, following a specific pattern.
What is included in this set?
The set contains 269 pieces, including glass beads in various sizes and 5 metal wire stars with 8 arms each. The beads are sorted in the colours pearl white and gold, which suits the Golden Glow theme. Because the beads are already supplied sorted by colour, you don't need to sort them yourself before you start.
The glass beads as the main material
The beads in this set are made of glass, which means they have a different look from plastic alternatives. Glass beads reflect light differently, which can create a warmer effect in candlelight or fairy lights. Please note that glass is more fragile than plastic, so handle and store them with care.
Practical tip for use and storage
Each wire star has 8 arms, which determines the basic structure of the final pattern you can make. Before you start, it is helpful to keep the beads separated by size and colour so you have them close at hand while threading. After use, it is best to store the finished stars in a box with soft layers in between, as the glass beads can be damaged by pressure or knocks.
