Give your old 3.5-inch hard drive a second life as external storage! Thanks to USB 3.0 and Plug & Play, you connect it in no time, and the aluminium casing provides sturdy protection and good cooling.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need an external hard drive enclosure?
You use a hard drive enclosure to turn an internal hard drive into an external storage solution. This is useful when you need extra storage space for your computer, or when you want to transfer data between different devices. You can also reuse an old internal hard drive with it.
Supported capacities
This enclosure supports hard drives up to 10 TB, so you can also use large storage capacities. The aluminium material ensures good heat dissipation, which is important for larger drives that produce more heat.
USB 3.0 for fast data transfer
With the USB 3.0 connection you achieve transfer speeds of up to 5 Gbit per second. This is considerably faster than the older USB 2.0 standard, so copying large files takes much less time. The enclosure supports HotPlug and Plug & Play, so you can connect the drive without restarting your computer.
Power supply and connection
The enclosure is powered via the USB port, and a mains adapter is included. This allows flexible connection to different computers and environments. Everything you need - USB cable, mains adapter and manual - is included in the package.
