This Cat. 6 crossover patch cable connects your devices stably and quickly, thanks to its shielded pairs and gold-plated contacts. With a 10 metre cable length you can easily bridge greater distances, while the LSZH sheath provides safety.
When do you choose this product?
What does this crossover patch cable do?
A crossover patch cable is used to connect two network devices of the same type directly to each other, without a switch or router in between. This is useful for connecting two computers, switches to each other, or other similar network equipment for direct data communication.
Why choose this shielded cable?
This cable offers PIMF shielding (shielded to industry standard). The shielding ensures that external interference cannot affect data transmission. With the 4 x 2 AWG 27/7 copper cores, you get a stable connection that is suitable for professional network environments.
Durable construction with LSZH sheath
The LSZH sheath (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) is flame-retardant and releases no toxic gases when heated. The RJ45 connectors feature gold-plated contacts that prevent corrosion and guarantee optimal conductivity. The moulded boot protects the connection against damage.
Practical application tip
Please note that modern network equipment often has auto-sensing and automatically detects whether a crossover cable is needed. So first check whether you actually need a crossover configuration. The green colour of the protective boot makes this 10-metre cable easy to recognise in your network cabinet and helps with organising different connections.
