What is this utility knife used for, and when do you need it?
A universal utility knife is indispensable for office tasks where you regularly need to cut materials. Whether you are opening cardboard, cutting paper to size, piercing plastic film or unpacking parcels, this knife helps with all kinds of cutting jobs in the office. With the 9 mm wide blade, you can cut through both thin and thicker materials.

Why choose this 9 mm size?
The 9 mm blade width offers a good balance between precision and strength. You have enough cutting power for sturdier materials such as cardboard and several layers of paper, while still retaining control for accurate work. This size is ideal for most office environments where you do not do very heavy cutting work every day.

Safety and ease of use at the centre
This knife has a retractable blade that you can lock in the desired position with a slider. This helps prevent accidents during use and storage. The integrated snap-off mechanism ensures you always have a sharp cutting edge: when the blade becomes blunt, you simply snap off the dull section.

Practical tips for use
You will receive this knife in a random colour from the range of blue, red or yellow; a specific colour preference is not possible. The plastic handle sits comfortably in the hand during use. Always store the knife with the blade retracted and use the locking function to prevent the blade from sliding out accidentally during transport or storage.
