When do you choose this product?

What is batik paint and when do you need it?
Batik paint is used to colour textiles with the popular tie-dye effect. This Marabu variant is ready to use straight from the bottle, so you don't need to prepare a colour bath. There are no long waiting times, and you can get straight to work on your creative projects.

Why choose this ready-to-use variant?
The great advantage of this batik paint is that you can start straight away without any preparation. Other batik paints often require mixing colour baths and have longer waiting times. With this bottle version you work faster and more efficiently, which is especially handy for workshops or when you want to make several projects one after another.

Wash-resistant up to 40°C
The paint stays put through washes up to 40°C, which means you can simply put your coloured textiles in the washing machine. This makes it suitable for garments and accessories that are washed regularly. Thanks to its lightfastness, the colours keep their intensity, even after a long time.

Suitable for light water-based fabrics
This batik paint works best on light-coloured textiles, as the colours then show to their best advantage. The paint is water-based and odour-neutral, which makes working with it more pleasant. Make sure your textile is clean and dry before you start colouring for the best result.

Dex knows - user tips

May cause an allergic reaction in sensitive skin — test the paint on a small piece of fabric first before tackling the entire project.
