When do you need a Cat. 6 S/FTP patch cable?
You use this patch cable to create network connections between devices such as computers, switches, routers or patch panels. You specifically need this cable when you want reliable data connections over longer distances, for example for connecting workstations on different floors or linking network cabinets.

Why choose the 20-metre length?
With 20 metres you have enough length to make connections between rooms or floors, without having to join several shorter cables together. This length is ideal for office environments where you need to connect equipment over greater distances, such as from a central network room to individual workstations.

Benefits of S/FTP shielding
The S/FTP construction means this cable is doubly shielded: both the individual wire pairs and the entire cable are screened with 0.025 mm aluminium foil. This prevents interference from external electromagnetic sources and ensures stable data transmission up to 250 MHz. The copper conductors with AWG 27/7 specification guarantee reliable conduction.

Practical details for installation
The RJ45 connectors are angled, which is handy in tight spaces behind equipment or in patch cabinets. The gold-plated connectors ensure optimal contact, and the rastnasenschutz (latch protection) guards against damage when plugging and unplugging. This grey cable blends into professional environments and is suitable for permanent installation.
