When do you use a bottle bag?

You use a bottle bag when you want to give a bottle of wine, olive oil or another bottle as a gift without simply handing over the bottle bare. The narrow, tall shape is specifically designed for bottles and makes a loose wrapper or box unnecessary.

Why this size and this variant?

With dimensions of 100 mm wide, 80 mm deep and 355 mm high, this bag offers room for a standard wine bottle or similar bottle. The base insert provides extra firmness at the bottom, so the bottle stands steady and the bag keeps its shape while being carried.

An honest look at the material

The bag is made from jute fibre paper with a weight of 250 g/m², which makes the paper sturdier than standard gift wrap but lighter than cardboard. The surface has a coconut fibre marbling, giving a distinctive textured finish that sets this material apart from smooth coated paper. Jute fibre paper is naturally less smooth and sleek than regular paper, which suits a craft-style look but is less suitable if you want a sleek, minimalist effect.

Practical tip when using it

The wide jute handles are attached to the top of the bag and offer a comfortable carrying option, even with a full bottle. When wrapping, make sure you place the bottle straight on the base insert before closing the handle side, so the weight is distributed evenly. This bag cannot be resealed, so add some tissue paper if you want a neater presentation at the top.
