What does a hook and eye latch with wood thread do?
A hook and eye latch with wood thread is a fixing device you use to close doors, shutters, gates or cupboards securely. You screw the wood thread directly into the wood, while the hook provides a reliable closure that is easy to operate.

Why choose galvanised steel in this size?
These hook and eye latches measuring 65×5,8×35 mm are made of galvanised steel, which means they are well protected against rust and corrosion. This makes them suitable for use both indoors and outdoors. The compact dimensions make them ideal for smaller applications such as cupboard doors, garden gates or sheds.

Practical packaging for multiple projects
You receive 15 pieces in a handy plastic box, which is enough for multiple fixing points or various projects. This quantity is practical if you want to fit a series of cupboards with closures, or if you want spare parts for future repairs.

Installation tip for the best result
Make sure you drill the correct pilot hole before screwing in the wood thread. This prevents the wood from splitting and ensures a secure fixing. Test the latch a few times before fixing the final position, so you can be sure the hook closes and opens smoothly.
