When do you need this gel pen refill?
Gel pens are popular for their smooth writing experience and vivid colours, but they eventually run out. This uni-ball refill allows you to keep using your SIGNO gel pens without having to buy a completely new pen. You save money and are more environmentally friendly by replacing only the inner mechanism.

Why this specific 0.4 mm variant?
The 0.4 mm line width produces a fine stroke that is ideal for detailed work. This thickness sits between a standard ballpoint pen and a fineliner, allowing you to write readable text as well as draw precise details. The red colour stands out well for corrections, markings or colour-coding documents.

Compatibility is essential
This refill only works with the uni-ball SIGNO gel pens (type UMN-207). It is important to first check that your pen is this exact model, as gel pen refills are not universally interchangeable between different pen models. The reference code UMR-87 R is usually printed on the original refill.

Practical tip for replacing
Keep the packaging of this refill until you actually need it. Gel refills can dry out if exposed to air for too long. Only replace the refill when your pen is truly empty, and make sure you click the new refill firmly into the pen until you hear a clicking sound.
