When do you use a safety cutter?
A safety cutter is indispensable for safely cutting cardboard, film, tape and other packaging materials in office and warehouse environments. You need this tool when safety comes first and you regularly carry out cutting work where the risk of cuts must be minimised.

Why choose a 19 mm blade?
The 19 mm wide blade of this WEDO safety cutter offers the ideal balance between power and control. This width is suitable for both light and medium-heavy cutting tasks, from thin packaging film to sturdier cardboard boxes. The size gives you sufficient leverage without the tool becoming too heavy or unwieldy.

Automatic blade retraction for maximum safety
The most important feature of this cutter is the automatic blade retraction. As soon as you release the pressure on the lever, the blade automatically retracts into the housing. This prevents accidents when you put the tool down or pass it to colleagues. The locking function when not in use provides an extra layer of safety.

Practical details for daily use
The rubber grip zone ensures a firm hold, even during prolonged use. The nylon/fibreglass material keeps the cutter light yet sturdy, while the metal blade guide ensures precise guidance. With dimensions of 60 x 22 x 164 mm, the tool sits comfortably in the hand and fits easily in a toolbox or work bag.
