What does this masking tape do and when do you need it?

This WESTEX masking tape is designed for temporarily masking surfaces during indoor painting work. You use it to protect edges, window frames or other areas you do not want to paint. It has been developed for simple indoor painting jobs.

Why this size is the right choice

The roll has a width of 30 mm and a length of 50 metres per roll, which is a common size for standard painting jobs at home. Because the pack contains three rolls, you have enough stock for a larger project without having to buy a new roll straight away. That way you can carry on working without interruptions.

An honest word about adhesion

This tape has medium adhesion, which means it stays put well while you paint, but also peels off neatly without causing major damage to the surface underneath. Do keep in mind that the tape is intended for short-term use: do not leave it on for too long after painting, so that removal stays easy and clean.

Practical tip for use

Because this is a smooth, thin crêpe tape, it is best suited to flat, smooth surfaces indoors. It is not intended for intensive or long-term outdoor use, or for situations where you need very strong adhesion. So use it specifically for simple indoor painting jobs, and store unused rolls in a dry, cool place to keep the adhesive layer in good condition.
