When do you use a plastering trowel?
This WESTEX plastering trowel is designed for applying and structuring materials such as plaster, render and filler. You need this tool when you want to finish walls smoothly, fill cracks or apply texture to surfaces. This trowel is also suitable for levelling work.

Why choose a 60 mm width?
The 60 mm blade width makes this trowel ideal for detail work and smaller surfaces. This compact size gives you more control when working in corners, around window and door frames or when carrying out precision work. For larger areas you would need several trowels, but for accurate finishing this size is practical.

Stainless steel with spot-welded fixing
The blade is made from stainless steel and fixed to the handle by spot welding. This creates a durable connection between blade and shank, so the trowel can withstand the forces involved in levelling and structuring materials. The stainless steel blade stays sharp and smooth, which is important for an even result.

Combined with a wooden handle
The wooden handle offers a comfortable grip during prolonged use. Wood absorbs vibrations better than plastic and gives you a better feel for the pressure you apply to the surface being worked. Make sure you keep the handle dry after use to extend its lifespan.
