What does this product do?
The BIC Criterium 550 is a graphite pencil for drawing, sketching and writing where you want a soft line. Thanks to the 2B grade of hardness, this pencil is ideal for artistic work, shading techniques and situations where you need a dark, expressive stroke.

Why choose hardness grade 2B?
The 2B grade produces a soft, dark line that glides easily over the paper. This makes the pencil perfect for creative applications where you want to create variation in line thickness and tone. The graphite wears down faster than with harder pencils, but in return gives you more control over the intensity of your lines.

Practical hexagonal design
The hexagonal shape stops the pencil from rolling off your desk and provides a comfortable grip during prolonged use. The green lacquered surface gives the pencil a recognisable appearance and protects the wood against wear. You can easily identify the pencil among other stationery thanks to its striking green colour.

Deliberately without an eraser
This pencil comes without an integrated eraser, which means you need to use a separate eraser. The advantage is that you can choose an eraser that best suits your specific drawing technique and paper type. For 2B graphite, a soft plastic eraser is preferable, as it removes the graphite effectively without damaging the paper.
