When do you need a traditional pencil?
The BIC Criterium 550 pencil is ideal for situations where you want to be able to erase and rewrite, such as with sketches, technical drawings or temporary notes. Unlike pens, you can erase pencil marks completely, which makes this pencil perfect for work that may still change.

Why choose the hexagonal shape?
The hexagonal shape of this pencil prevents it from rolling off your desk, which is especially handy during long periods of drawing or writing. This shape also sits more steadily in your hand than round pencils, giving you more control when doing precision work.

HB hardness for versatile use
This pencil has HB hardness, which means it offers a good balance between hardness and softness. You get clear, easily readable lines without the pencil wearing down too quickly, and without the marks becoming too light to be clearly visible.

Please note: no eraser built in
This BIC pencil comes without a built-in eraser at the end. So you will need a separate eraser if you want to correct mistakes. This keeps the pencil more compact and prevents the eraser from hardening or crumbling over time, as often happens with pencils that have built-in erasers.
