What does a drum do in your printer?
A drum is an essential component of laser printers that ensures the toner is correctly transferred onto the paper. Without a working drum, you get smudged prints, white streaks or faded text. You should replace the Brother DR-2000 drum when your print quality deteriorates, even if you still have toner.

Why choose this DR-2000 variant?
This specific drum is designed for Brother's compact office printers and multifunction devices from the HL-2000 and MFC-7000 series. You need this variant if you use an HL-2030, HL-2040, HL-2070N or one of the mentioned MFC and DCP models. The DR-2000 is not interchangeable with other drum variants.

Capacity of 12,000 pages
With a capacity of 12,000 pages, this drum lasts considerably longer than a standard toner cartridge. This means you can replace on average 3 to 4 toner cartridges before you need a new drum. The actual lifespan depends on your printing habits and the type of documents you print.

Checking compatibility
Always check the exact model number of your printer before ordering. This DR-2000 drum works with DCP-7010, DCP-7025, MFC-7225N, MFC-7420, MFC-7820N, FAX-2820, FAX-2920 and DCP-7010L. You can usually find the model number on a sticker on the front or back of your printer. The wrong drum will not physically fit in your printer.
