What does a drum unit do, and when do you need one?
A drum unit is an essential part of your laser printer that ensures the toner is transferred evenly onto the paper. When your prints become blurry, show streaks or the print quality deteriorates, it is time to replace the drum unit. This Brother drum unit has been specially developed for colour laser printers and works together with the toner cartridges.

Why choose this 4-colour drum unit set?
This DR-230CL drum unit contains all four colours you need for full-colour printing: cyan, magenta, yellow and black (CMYK). By replacing all the drums at the same time, you ensure that all colours perform optimally and you get the best print quality. This prevents colour differences that can arise when drums are replaced at different times.

Realistic capacity for regular users
With a capacity of approximately 15,000 pages per drum, you get sufficient print volume for office environments with average print usage. This capacity applies per colour, which means that, depending on your printing habits, you will use up different colours at different times. Black usually runs out first with many text documents.

Compatibility with specific Brother models
This drum unit is only suitable for Brother printers from the HL-3040CN series, MFC-9120CN/9120N and MFC-9320CW models, as well as the DCP-9010CN and HL-3070CW. Always check your exact printer model before ordering, as drum units are model-specific. The reference number DR-230CL will help you find the right replacement.
