What is a calligraphy exercise book and when do you need one?
A calligraphy exercise book is specially designed for practising handwriting and calligraphy. You use this type of book when you want to improve your handwriting, learn calligraphy, or when schools specifically prescribe this format for handwriting exercises.

Why choose the 170×220 mm format?
This format of 170×220 mm offers enough space for handwriting exercises without being too large for everyday use. The dimensions make the book practical for both home use and in the classroom, allowing you to write comfortably without the book taking up too much space on your desk.

The benefits of the polypropylene cover
The transparent polypropylene cover protects your book against dirt, moisture and wear. Thanks to the transparent finish, the red colour of the book remains clearly visible, which is handy for recognition and organisation. Polypropylene is sturdier than ordinary cardboard covers and lasts longer.

Suitable paper for calligraphy exercises
The vélin surfin paper of 90 g/m² is especially suitable for writing exercises. This paper weight prevents ink from bleeding through to the next page and gives a pleasant writing experience. The Séyès ruling system helps with forming letters correctly and maintaining the right proportions between the ascender, x-height and descender of letters.
