What is a calligraphy exercise book and when do you need one?
A calligraphy exercise book is a specialised notebook with Séyès lines, the French line system that was specially developed for learning handwriting. You need this type of notebook when you practise calligraphy, want to improve your handwriting or work according to the French writing method.

Why choose the 170×220 mm format?
This compact format is ideal for personal practice and portability. It offers enough writing space without being cumbersome, so you can easily take it to courses or study locations. The 140 pages per notebook give you ample room for extensive writing exercises.

Advantages of the transparent polypro cover
The transparent plastic cover effectively protects your work against moisture and wear, while still allowing you to see what is written inside. This material is sturdier than cardboard and lasts longer, especially with intensive use during writing exercises.

Practical tips for optimal use
The vélin surfin paper of 90 g/m² is specially suitable for various writing instruments, from fountain pen to fineliner. With the pack of 40 pieces, you have sufficient stock for long-term courses or classroom use. Store unused notebooks in a dry place to preserve the paper quality, and make sure your writing instrument is suitable for this paper weight.
