When do you need a yellow ink cartridge?
If you print documents or photos with yellow tones, your yellow ink will run out faster than the other colours. This happens especially when printing images with lots of warm shades, charts with yellow accents, or photos with sunshine and flowers. The CLI-551XL yellow helps your colours stay true to life.

Why choose the XL version?
This XL version contains 11 ml of ink, which is more than the standard CLI-551 cartridge. This means you can print more pages before you need to replace the cartridge. For users who print in colour regularly, this means fewer interruptions and a better price per printed page.

Reliable genuine Canon quality
Canon has developed this cartridge specifically for their inkjet system. The ink formulation is matched to the print head and paper, giving you sharp text and vibrant colours. The cartridge works with Canon's intelligent ink detection, so your printer always knows how much ink is still available.
