What is this drawing paper and when do you need it?
This CANSON Mi-Teintes drawing paper has been specially developed for pastel drawings and chalk work. You use it when you want to create artistic works with dry media such as pastel chalk, charcoal or coloured pencils.

Why this 240 × 320 mm size is the right choice
This size gives you enough working space for detailed drawings without the paper becoming unwieldy. The 20 sheets in a pad make it practical for a series of studies or smaller artworks. The size fits easily on a standard drawing table and is ideal for portraits or sketch studies.

The advantage of the dual paper texture
This drawing paper has a honeycomb structure on one side and a fine grain on the other. This dual texture gives you flexibility in your techniques: the rougher side holds more pigment for intense colours, while the finer side is suitable for details and subtle transitions. The weight of 160 g/m² ensures stability while drawing.

Practical tip for optimal use
The pad is glued along the short edge, so you can easily tear off the sheets without them creasing. Always start with light pressure to feel which side suits your way of drawing best. Store unused sheets flat and dry to prevent loss of quality.
