This heavy acrylic paper with a linen texture is perfect for your thick layers of paint and intense colours. The 400 g/m² quality ensures the paper doesn't curl, so you can focus on your artwork.
When do you choose this product?
When should you choose special acrylic paper?
If you work with acrylic paint, you need paper that can withstand the texture and moisture of this type of paint. Ordinary drawing paper quickly becomes saturated or tears with intensive use. This CANSON sketchbook is specially developed for acrylic painting and can handle both thinned paint layers applied thinly and multiple layers of opaque paint.
Why this size and composition?
The size of 380×460 mm offers enough space for extensive painting projects without becoming unwieldy. With 10 sheets, you get enough paper for multiple projects or for experimenting. The block is glued along the long side, which provides stability while you work and prevents the sheets from curling due to the moisture of the paint.
The strength of 400 g/m² paper weight
The thick 400 g/m² paper is essential for acrylic work because it can bear the load of wet paint without tearing or becoming saturated. This thickness also makes it possible to apply multiple layers of paint over one another without the paper losing its shape. Moreover, the paper is acid-free, which means your artwork will not yellow over time.
Practical benefits of the linen texture
The paper has a linen texture (canvas structure) that holds the paint well and gives your painting a natural texture. This surface structure also helps when mixing colours directly on the paper and gives your work a professional look comparable to painting on real canvas.
