When do you choose this product?
What does this product do?
This sketchbook has been specially developed for mixed media techniques, allowing you to combine different drawing materials on a single sheet. The black paper offers a unique surface that creates contrast and makes your colours stand out — perfect for pencil, watercolour paint and marker.
Why choose this A5 format?
The A5 format is ideal for sketching on the go, drawing in a café or creating smaller studies. This compact size fits easily into your bag or backpack, so you can always draw whenever inspiration strikes. For beginners, A5 is also less intimidating than large formats and costs less material per drawing.
The benefit of 240 gram paper
The paper weight of 240 grams ensures the paper is sturdy enough for multiple layers of paint or different drawing materials without bowing or tearing. This weight also prevents materials from bleeding through the paper onto the next sheet. The smooth surface provides an even texture that is suitable for detailed work.
Practical features
The block is glued along the short edge, which means you can easily turn the sheets while drawing. The acid-free paper ensures your artworks will not discolour over time. With 20 sheets, you have enough paper for a series of experiments or studies without the block becoming too thick to work with comfortably.
