This is why Dex likes this article
This lightly textured drawing paper gives your work a lovely texture. With 25 sheets, you have stock for all your creative projects, from sketches to finished drawings.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need special drawing paper?
Textured drawing paper such as this CANSON 'C' à grain paper is used when you work with dry drawing media such as pencil, charcoal, pastel or chalk. The light grain helps the material adhere better to the paper and gives you more control over hatching and shading effects. This makes it ideal for portraits, landscapes and technical drawings.
Why choose this size and weight?
The 50×65 cm format offers enough space for detailed drawings without limiting your composition. At 125 g/m², this paper has a sturdy character that withstands intensive use of erasers and varying drawing pressure, yet remains supple enough to work with comfortably.
What does the light grain structure mean?
The lightly grained quality of this paper means it has a subtle texture produced by dry pressing. This texture is not too dominant, so you can draw both fine details and broader areas. The paper takes up drawing material well without you losing control over lines and transitions.
Practical considerations when using it
This pack of 25 sheets is handy for regular artists who don't want to keep too much stock on hand. Store the paper flat in a dry environment to prevent curling. Make sure your drawing materials suit grained paper: soft pencils and pastels work excellently, whereas hard pencils are less suitable for this texture.
