This sketchbook is perfect for your sketches and studies in pencil, charcoal or pastel chalk. The slightly textured surface and double spiral make drawing comfortable, while the hardcover protects your work.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need a professional sketchbook?
A sketchbook is used for making drawings, sketches and studies with various drawing materials. This Canson XL Book Sketch is suitable when you work with pencil, charcoal, chalk, sanguine and pastel. Thanks to the hardcover format, you can draw comfortably both at home and on the go.
Why choose the A5 format with hardcover?
The A5 format (148 x 210 mm) offers enough drawing space without being too large for mobile use. The hardcover protects your drawings and provides sturdiness while you draw. With 100 sheets, you have plenty of pages for longer projects or multiple studies.
Ideal paper for dry drawing techniques
The ivory-white paper has a weight of 90 g/m² and a slightly textured surface. These properties ensure that drawing materials such as pencil, charcoal and pastel adhere well to the paper. The paper is acid-free, so your drawings won't discolour or become brittle over time.
Practical spiral binding for easy use
The double spiral binding runs along the long side of the sketchbook. This allows you to fold the book completely open so that it lies flat while you draw. This prevents the spiral from getting in the way for right-handed artists and makes it possible to work across the full width of both pages.
