This quality sketchbook with ribbed kraft paper gives your drawings a distinctive look. The spiral binding and micro-perforation make it convenient on the go, while the 90 g/m² paper is ideal for pencil and charcoal.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need a kraft sketchbook?
This CANSON sketchbook has been specially developed for dry drawing techniques such as pencil and charcoal. The kraft paper has a natural brown colour that creates a warm base, ideal when you want to experiment with contrasts or aim for a vintage look. You mainly use this type of pad for sketches, studies and creative projects where the colour of the paper becomes part of your composition.
Why choose A5 format?
The A5 format (148 x 210 mm) is compact enough to take anywhere, yet offers ample space for detailed sketches. With 40 sheets, you have enough material for a complete project or a long series of studies. This size fits easily in your bag and sits comfortably in your hand while drawing.
The benefit of textured kraft paper
The ribbed kraft paper has a special quality: the texture picks up pencil and charcoal well and gives your drawings more depth. The 90 g/m² paper weight is sturdy enough to apply several layers without the paper bending or tearing. The natural brown colour makes white chalk or white pencil strokes stand out beautifully.
Practical details for use
The spiral binding at the top ensures you can fold the pad completely over without pages getting in the way. Thanks to the micro-perforation, you can easily tear finished drawings from the pad without frayed edges. Store your pad flat to prevent warping, and make sure your drawing materials are suitable for the texture of the paper.
