Draw freely with these Fibralo Brush pens: the flexible brush tip always springs back for smooth lines from thin to thick. Durable too, as the body is made from 100% recycled ocean plastic.
When do you choose this product?
What does this product do?
The Caran d'Ache 186.805 is a set of 6 brush-tipped pens, designed for those who want to draw or paint with the flexibility of a brush but the convenience of a pen. The tip is flexible and sturdy and springs back to its original shape after each brush stroke, allowing you to create both fine lines and broader areas with the same tool. This makes the set suitable for illustration, lettering and artistic use where variation in line thickness is important.
Why this line thickness makes a difference
With a line width of 0.5 to 5 mm, this set covers a wide range, from precise details to broader brush effects. This means you don't have to reach for a different writing tool for every drawing, as pressure and the angle of the brush tip already create variation in line thickness. For those who enjoy experimenting with calligraphy-style effects or brush lettering, this range is a practical advantage.
Water-based ink: what it means for your work
The ink in these pens is water-based, which allows for smooth application and blending of colours without a strong odour. Do keep in mind, however, that water-based ink can be more prone to bleeding when in contact with moisture, so allow your work to dry thoroughly if you are working in multiple layers or on watercolour paper.
