When do you need a professional retractable ballpoint pen?
A retractable ballpoint pen such as the CARAN D'ACHE 849 Scherenschnitt is ideal when you need a reliable writing instrument for everyday office work, taking notes during meetings or signing documents. Thanks to the retractable mechanism, you don't have to search for a cap and can use the pen straight away.

Why choose an aluminium hexagonal barrel?
The hexagonal aluminium barrel provides a stable grip while writing and prevents the pen from rolling off your desk. Aluminium keeps the pen light yet sturdy, so it feels comfortable during prolonged use. The flexible metal clip holds the pen firmly to your pocket or notepad.

The advantage of the Goliath refill
This pen takes Goliath refills, which means you don't have to throw away the entire pen when the ink runs out. The blue refill has a line width of M, suitable for normal handwriting and business use. This makes the pen more sustainable than disposable pens.

Convenient storage with the included case
You also receive a flat metal case with a magnetic closure. This case protects the pen during transport and takes up little space in your bag or desk drawer. The magnetic clasp keeps the case securely closed without any fiddling with buttons.
