For watercolour effects with coloured pencils
Watercolour pencils are ideal when you want to combine the control of coloured pencils with soft watercolour effects. You first draw your design with the pencils, then add water with a brush to create smooth transitions and transparent layers. This makes them perfect for sketches, studies and art projects where you want to mix different techniques.

Why 40 colours in this format
This set of 40 pieces gives you an extensive colour palette with both basic colours and special shades such as jade, malachite green and Prussian blue. The metal tin provides durable storage and protection for your pencils. With this variety, you can create complex colour transitions without having to mix colours, which is especially handy for detailed work.

Hard lead for precision
The hard lead, 3.0 mm thick, gives you more control and precision when drawing. This means the pencils wear down less quickly and you can add fine details before adding water. The cedarwood body with its hexagonal shape sits comfortably in the hand and prevents rolling away while you work.

Lightfastness for lasting results
A key advantage of these pencils is their exceptional lightfastness. This means your artworks won't fade quickly when exposed to light. For artists who want to preserve or exhibit their work, this is an essential quality that considerably extends the lifespan of your creations.
