When should you choose water-soluble coloured pencils?
Watercolour pencils are ideal when you want to combine the control of coloured pencils with the fluid effects of watercolour paint. You first use them as ordinary coloured pencils and then create watercolour effects by adding water with a brush. This makes them perfect for mixed media projects, sketches and artworks where you want to apply different techniques.

Why a set of 80 colours?
With 80 different shades, you have an extensive colour palette suitable for professional applications and complex artworks. This wide variety allows you to create subtle colour transitions and work out realistic details. The metal tin ensures that all the pencils stay organised and protected during transport and storage.

Advantages of the hard lead and cedarwood
The hard lead, 3.0 mm thick, ensures precision drawing and has a longer lifespan than soft leads. The cedarwood and hexagonal shape offer a comfortable grip and prevent the pencils from rolling off your work surface. The exceptional lightfastness means your artworks keep their colours, even with prolonged exposure to light.

Practical tip for use
Always start with dry techniques before adding water, as once wet you can no longer work dry over the surface. Experiment with different amounts of water to achieve different effects: a little water gives subtle transitions, more water creates classic watercolour effects.
