What is crêpe paper and when do you use it?
Crêpe paper is a versatile craft material with a distinctive crinkled texture. You use it for decorative projects such as making flowers, garlands and party decorations, but also for costume parts and 3D creations. Its elastic nature makes the paper suitable for projects where you need to shape or stretch the material.

Premium quality with extra strength
This Clairefontaine crêpe paper has a 75% premium quality level with a sturdy crêpe finish. This feature ensures the paper combines elasticity and durability. You can stretch and shape the paper without it tearing easily, which is especially important when making 3D objects or when the crêpe paper is under tension.

Practical storage and use
The paper is supplied folded to an 85 mm width in a handy blister pack. This compact packaging protects the material from moisture and damage during storage. When you unfold the paper, you get the full working width. The black colour is neutral and suitable for elegant decorations or as a base for contrasting colours in your project.
