What is crêpe paper used for, and when should you use it?
Crêpe paper is the versatile material for all creative projects where you want to add colour and texture. You use it to make costumes, decorative garlands and three-dimensional creations such as flowers or other works of art. The folded paper unfolds to a much larger surface than you would initially expect.

Why this fuchsia format of 500 mm wide?
With this width of 500 mm, you have enough material for larger projects without having to stick multiple strips side by side. The paper is supplied compactly, folded to 85 mm, making it easy to store. The length of 2.5 metres gives you more than enough material for most decoration or craft projects.

Sturdy quality with elasticity
This Clairefontaine crêpe paper has a 75% premium quality level with a sturdy crêpe structure. This combination ensures that the paper is elastic and wear-resistant, which means it does not tear easily when unfolding or working with it. You can stretch and shape the paper without it immediately falling apart.

Practical storage and use
The crêpe paper is supplied in a blister pack that protects the paper from moisture and damage. Store it in a dry place to retain its elasticity. For the best results, unfold the paper carefully and work from the inside outwards to prevent tears.
