When do you choose this product?
When do you need a mixed media sketchbook?
This Clairefontaine sketchbook is specially designed for artists and illustrators who want to use both wet and dry techniques. You choose this product when you want to experiment with different materials such as watercolour, acrylic paint, pencil, charcoal or pastel on one and the same paper.
Why choose the A4 format?
The A4 format of 210 x 297 mm gives you enough space for detailed work without taking up too much room on your worktable. This size is ideal for studies, sketches and smaller artworks that you can easily store or display.
What makes the smooth surface special?
The smooth surface of this paper ensures an even distribution of paint and ink. The 250 gram per square metre paper is sturdy enough to resist moisture without curling, while remaining smooth enough for fine detail work with pen or pencil. The spiral-bound block keeps all the sheets neatly together.
Practical benefits for long-term use
The acid-free and pH-neutral paper ensures that your artworks won't discolour or yellow over time. With 25 sheets, you have enough material for an extensive series of drawings or several projects. The block is suitable for both beginning artists who want to try out different techniques and advanced illustrators looking for a reliable everyday base material.
