When do you choose this product?
When do you need a sketchbook with smooth paper?
This sketchbook is ideal when you work with techniques that require a smooth surface. The smooth surface ensures that your brush or other drawing tools glide smoothly across the paper, without the paper's texture disrupting your linework. You choose this type of paper for detailed work or when you want to draw sharp, precise lines.
Why the A5 format is practical
With dimensions of 148 x 210 mm, this A5 format offers a handy work surface that fits perfectly on your desk. The format is large enough for studies, sketches and smaller artworks, yet remains manageable and portable. For on the go or in smaller workspaces, this is an excellent choice.
The strength of 250 gram paper
The paper weight of 250 g/m² makes this pad suitable for both dry and wet techniques. This means you can use pencil, charcoal and pastel as well as watercolour, ink and markers. The paper is sturdy enough to withstand moisture without curling or tearing, while still remaining smooth to work on.
Durability through acid-free composition
The acid-free and pH-neutral paper ensures that your artworks won't yellow or deteriorate over time. This is especially important if you want to keep or exhibit your drawings. The sized paper has a consistent structure, so paint and ink are absorbed evenly without becoming blotchy.
