This is why Dex likes this article
This smooth A3 sketch pad is ideal for your manga and illustration work. The paper holds ink and wash beautifully without bleed-through, so every line stays sharp. With 50 sheets, you have plenty of room to sketch and develop your ideas.
When do you choose this product?
Which drawing projects is this block for?
This sketch block has been specially developed for manga and illustration techniques that involve working with ink and East Asian ink. The very smooth paper surface allows your pen or brush to glide smoothly across the paper, which is essential for the characteristic line techniques of the manga style.
Why A3 format for manga drawing?
The A3 format of 297 x 420 mm offers enough space for detailed manga illustrations with multiple characters or complex backgrounds. You have plenty of working room for both close-ups of faces and full character studies, without feeling restricted in your composition.
Bleed-through resistance with ink work
The 100 gsm paper is highly bleed-proof, which means that ink does not seep through the paper. This prevents your drawing from showing through to the next sheet and allows you to use both sides of the paper without any problems.
Practical working conditions
The very white paper provides a clear contrast with black ink, making your lines sharp and distinct. The block contains 50 sheets, which is sufficient for an extensive series of sketches or a complete manga series. Thanks to the smooth texture, you can also work well with fine details and hatching.
