Effortlessly bridge long distances without signal loss with this active extension. Handy if your printer, scanner or camera sits just a little further from your PC than a standard cable allows.
When do you choose this product?
What does an active USB extension cable do?
An active USB extension cable is designed to bridge USB connections over a greater distance than a standard cable allows. This means you can place USB devices further away from your computer in your workspace. This cable has a USB-A plug and a USB-A socket.
Why choose this 20-metre version?
This cable is 20.0 metres long and is black in colour. The cable is cascadable, which means you can connect multiple cables in series. The total length of those cables may be a maximum of 20 metres.
Reliable data transmission up to 480 Mbit/sec
The cable supports data transmission up to 480 Mbit per second. This allows you to transfer files between your devices.
Compatibility and practical use
The cable is compatible with Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7/8 and Mac OS 10.X. You can also use the cable for USB 2.0 devices, provided they have their own power supply.
