Keep your network cabinet cool with this roof-mounted ventilation unit. Thanks to the adjustable thermostat, the fans switch on precisely when needed, keeping your equipment protected against overheating.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need roof ventilation for your network cabinet?
A roof ventilation unit prevents servers and network equipment from overheating in enclosed cabinets. When you place temperature-sensitive equipment in a network cabinet, active ventilation ensures that the heat is effectively removed. This is essential for the reliability and lifespan of your IT infrastructure.
Why choose a 2-fan configuration?
This DIGITUS unit has two fans that together ensure optimal airflow through your network cabinet. The dual configuration provides redundancy: should one fan fail, the other keeps running. With dimensions of 410×470×80 mm, this unit fits perfectly in the roof module of a standard 19-inch network cabinet.
Temperature control that works automatically
The built-in thermostat can be set between 0 and 70 degrees Celsius, so the ventilation only activates when it is truly needed. This saves energy and extends the lifespan of the fans. The noise level remains limited to 47 dBm, making the unit suitable for office environments where quiet is important.
Practical installation information
This roof ventilation unit is specifically designed for installation in the DIGITUS Unique series of network cabinets. The unit is supplied with a Schutzkontakt plug, and for Switzerland a fix adapter is included. Check whether your network cabinet is compatible with the roof module system before you order.
