When do you need a roof ventilation unit?
This roof ventilation unit prevents equipment in network cabinets from overheating by extracting warm air and drawing in cool air. You need this type of ventilation when servers, switches or other network components in an enclosed cabinet produce a lot of heat and you want to prevent problems caused by rising temperatures.

Why this 4-fan configuration?
With four fans, this unit provides sufficient cooling capacity for medium to large network cabinets with multiple active devices. The 410×470×80 mm size is designed for installation in the roof module of DIGITUS Unique series network cabinets, giving you an integrated cooling solution that fits perfectly with the cabinet series.

Smart temperature control with thermostat
The built-in thermostat can be set between 0 and 70 degrees Celsius, so the ventilation only activates when it is really needed. This saves energy and extends the lifespan of the fans. The noise level of 47 dBm ensures that the unit does its job without being disruptive in office environments.

Practical installation information
This unit is specifically developed for DIGITUS Unique series network cabinets and is supplied with a Schutzkontakt plug including a fixing adapter for Swiss sockets. Please note that you need the correct roof module for mounting – check whether your network cabinet is compatible with this ventilation unit before ordering. The on/off switch gives you manual control over the ventilation.
